The Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) has initiated criminal investigations following threats received by several educational institutions and hospitals in Romania. The case is opened in rem, considering a possible violation of anti-terrorism laws. DIICOT is collaborating with police officers from the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime to gather evidence and clarify the situation, with the aim of adopting an appropriate legal solution.
