On Wednesday evening, a fire broke out in Chiriacu, where about 1,000 bales of straw and clover, as well as an area of 5,000 square meters of dry vegetation burned. ISU Giurgiu intervened with two fire engines, supported by the Izvoarele Voluntary Emergency Service. The cause of the fire was identified as open fire in open spaces.
