Defense Minister Angel Tîlvăr attended the meeting of the Steering Board of the European Defense Agency, where he called for incentives from the European Commission to intensify cooperation between Member States, including for the development and acquisition of military capabilities.

At the meeting, EU defense ministers endorsed the CARD (Coordinated Annual Defense Review Process) report and discussed the need for a common approach in implementing the recommendations contained in the document. Minister Tîlvăr emphasized the importance of ensuring coherence between the projects identified at EU level and the capability targets in the NATO context.
