Daniel Băluță, the mayor of Sector 4 and first vice-president of PSD, stated that he is seriously considering a possible candidacy for the Capital City Hall, with elections scheduled for December 7. He emphasizes the importance of a coherent program and understanding the problems of Bucharest. Băluță will make a decision after the Government issues an ordinance in this regard.

Gabriela Firea, when asked about her candidacy, stated that decisions will be made within the party and that PSD also wants an honest discussion to establish the candidate. Additionally, Ciprian Ciucu, the mayor of Sector 6, commented that he has no issues with each party having its own candidate, but he emphasized that polls show a different situation compared to what is being circulated in the press.
