USR MEP Dan Barna would like the elections for the Chisinau mayoralty to take place this fall, given the stability of the administration.

Dan Barna said that he hopes that the elections for the Bucharest City Hall will be organized in October or November, stressing the importance of a legitimate administration for Bucharest. He said a joint USR-PNL candidate would ensure the continuation of a pro-European center-right leadership. Barna also expressed USR's desire for a two-round election, but recognized the difficulties in reaching a political agreement in the coalition.
