The Dacian Fall exercise, scheduled between October 20 and November 13, involves over 5,000 military personnel from 10 NATO countries. The French army has built a temporary logistics base in Cârțișoara and has transported 11 trains with equipment, including Leclerc tanks. The vehicles are being transported by road to the base in Cincu, and logistical support is provided by NATO units in Romania. The objective is to deploy a fully operational brigade in less than a month.
