Two customs inspectors from the Constanța Border Customs Office, Diner Suliman and Bogdan Vîlsan, have been accused by DNA prosecutors of taking bribes. Following the confession of the act, Suliman was sentenced to three years in prison with a suspended sentence, while Vîlsan received two years and four months, both being required to perform community service.

In the same case, a representative of a commercial company was accused of giving a bribe. Between November 2025 and April 2026, Suliman received sums of money to facilitate customs procedures, while Vîlsan demanded a bribe to expedite the customs operations.

Prosecutors proposed the confiscation of the amounts received by the two inspectors, including $17,900 and 36,300 lei from Suliman, as well as 10,000 lei from Vîlsan. The case has been forwarded to the Constanța Tribunal for the maintenance of precautionary measures.
