The General Council of Bucharest Municipality approved on Friday two essential projects for Sector 1. The Dinu Lipatti Memorial House will be purchased and transformed into a cultural center open to the community, where exhibitions, concerts, and educational events will take place. This initiative, starting in March 2025, aims to preserve the historical and cultural value of the place where the great pianist Dinu Lipatti spent part of his childhood.

Funding will come from the local budget of Sector 1. Additionally, the 'Green Promenade' project has been approved, which will transform the banks of Străulești Lake into a green space for relaxation and recreation. This project will contribute to the creation of a recreational base and will provide residents with a friendly place for all ages. Both initiatives are funded from the local budget of Sector 1 and will improve the quality of life in the community.
