The Minister of Development, Cseke Attila, announced in Miercurea-Ciuc a reform package for local and central administration, which includes a 10% reduction in personnel expenses in central public administration. For local administration, it is proposed either to reduce positions or to decrease expenses. The project offers flexibility to the main budget managers, who can decide how to implement these reductions based on the specific needs of the institutions.
Cseke Attila emphasized that there are several ways to reduce expenses, including reorganizations, reducing bonuses, or granting days off. Each main budget manager will have the freedom to choose the most suitable method, considering the diversity of the institutions' regulations. He also mentioned that exceptions to these reductions are not yet finalized, but there have already been measures to reduce in pre-university education and in Parliament. The project will be approved after an agreement is reached in the coalition. Attila participated in the handover of a renovated polyclinic, financed by the National Investment Company.
