Radu Miruță, the new Minister of Defense, stated that the situation of the CSA Steaua football team is one of the most frequent concerns of the people around him, even surpassing issues related to the Army's equipment or the status of the war at Romania's borders. The club, which is under the Army's authority, is stuck in the lower leagues and cannot promote, and every change of leadership at the Ministry of Defense raises questions from fans and the CSA management.

Miruță mentioned that he will analyze the data related to the team and will make a decision soon, possibly in the coming weeks. One discussed solution would be the association of CSA Steaua with a private investor, which could bring financial benefits both for the club and for the budget of the Ministry of Defense, which annually bears a significant deficit due to the team's expenses. Promotion could attract sponsors and revenue from broadcasting rights.
