The former head of the ANPC, Cristian Popescu-Piedone, remains under judicial control after the Brasov Court rejected his appeal against the measure ordered by DNA. He is accused of allowing unauthorized persons access to confidential information by tipping off a representative of the International Hotel in Sinaia about an ANPC inspection. The court also decided that Piedone must pay legal costs of 200 lei.
