Antonescu criticized Bolojan's proposal to appoint Siegfried Mureșan as prime minister, considering it "sinister" and highlighting his lack of political experience. He mentioned that Romania is in a political crisis, with a dismissed government that continues to control administrative positions.

Antonescu warned that Mureșan's appointment could affect Romania's partnership with the USA, considering his previous anti-Trump statements. He also emphasized that Nicușor Dan must appoint a prime minister, and in case of failure, early elections may be necessary. Antonescu accused Bolojan's group of actions that serve foreign interests and called for clarification of the political situation in Romania.
