In the commune of Măceșu de Sus, the town hall has invested €25,000 to install 100 wooden benches, each costing 1,200 lei. Locals are unhappy, as many houses have no access to drinking water or sewage. The mayor explained that the budget only allowed for the purchase of 100 benches, leaving 70 houses without. Although benches have been installed, the essential needs of the community remain unaddressed, and the sewerage project has been stalled for 3 years. Residents are demanding prioritization of infrastructure investment.
