András István Demeter has decided to establish a control committee at the 'George Enescu' National Museum in Bucharest, following reports regarding the preservation of manuscripts and other heritage items during the renovation works. The committee will analyze the conservation conditions of cultural goods and will evaluate their management, with the possibility of extending control over other relevant elements.

Enescu's manuscripts, including those of the opera 'Oedipe', have been stored in outdoor containers for 4 and a half years, exposed to extreme climatic conditions. Additionally, workers destroyed sanitary objects from the composer's personal bathroom, which were later recovered but damaged. The minister emphasized the importance of open and responsible collaboration from the institution in this endeavor.
