Ciprian Pistol, director of CNAIR, has announced the signing of the contract for Lot 2 of the Arad-Oradea Express Road, which will be realized by a Romanian-Turkish joint venture, worth 2.76 billion lei. The project includes 39.7 km of road and a 10 km connecting road with Hungary. Funded by the Transport Program 2021-2027, the completion deadline is 24 months. The road will improve mobility in western Romania and connect the region with European corridors.
