The A1 motorway is temporarily closed in Hunedoara: traffic diverted before the reception of Lot 3 Lugoj–Deva

The A1 motorway will be completely closed between the Dobra and Holdea interchanges, in both directions, from June 17 to June 19, 2026, according to information provided by tion.ro.

This restriction is necessary for carrying out repair works on the roadway, before the final reception of section 3 of the Lugoj-Deva motorway.

Traffic will be diverted to DN 68A, and the alternative route for vehicles traveling from Deva to Nădlac will include A1 Deva, DN 68A, and the road interchanges Coșevița, Coșava, and Margina.

Temporary signaling will be maintained both during the day and at night, to ensure the safety of road users, according to representatives of DRDP Timișoara.
