The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management has issued a Code Yellow warning for 15 counties in Romania, valid from 12:00 to 24:00 on Monday. It warns of the risk of heavy runoff down slopes, flash floods on small rivers and possible local flooding, especially in the counties of Maramureș, Cluj and Suceava. Residents are advised to avoid traveling near watercourses and to take preventive measures.
