The National Administration of Meteorology has issued a Ro-Alert message for Bucharest, announcing a code red heat wave for Monday. It is recommended to avoid traveling and strenuous physical exertion, and to call the 112 emergency service only in case of need. The maximum temperatures will reach 41 degrees Celsius and the temperature-humidity index will exceed 80 units, generating a marked thermal discomfort. The night will be characterized by lows between 21 and 24 degrees.
