Bucharest is facing a code orange heatwave, with temperatures up to 39°C and severe heat discomfort

The National Meteorological Administration has issued a code orange heatwave for Bucharest, valid between July 24 and July 26. Maximum temperatures will reach 39°C and nights will be tropical with lows of 20-23°C. The temperature will be very uncomfortable and the temperature-humidity index will exceed 80 units. The code is activated under conditions of persistent heat, with highs between 37 and 40°C and hot nights.
