The women's football coach, Petr Vlachovsky, aged 42, has been permanently suspended by UEFA after being caught secretly filming his players in the locker room. The incident occurred at FC Slovacko, and the youngest athlete was only 17 years old. In May 2025, Vlachovsky was sentenced to one year of suspended prison and received a five-year ban from coaching in the country. UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body decided to exclude Vlachovsky from any football-related activity and requested FIFA to extend the ban globally. The Czech Football Association was also asked to revoke his coaching license. The football players' union, FIFPRO, welcomed this decision, emphasizing the importance of protecting players and combating abuse in sports. Throughout his career, Vlachovsky also coached the Czech Republic's under-19 women's national team.
