The Deputy Mayor of Cluj has announced new traffic safety measures near educational institutions, including speed restrictions and the installation of fences.

In the context of the beginning of the school year, the Cluj City Hall has established safety measures to protect students in traffic. Deputy Mayor Dan Tarcea stated that protective fences will be installed and pedestrian crossings will be elevated. Additionally, traffic will be restricted to 30 km/h around schools, and the Local Police and Gendarmerie will be present during peak hours to ensure the safety of children. These measures are intended to prevent incidents and ensure a safer environment for students.
