Citizens from 12 countries will be able to visit Vietnam without a visa for 45 days from August 15, 2023, according to a government decision.

From August 15, 2023, citizens of Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Hungary, and Switzerland can visit Vietnam without a visa for up to 45 days. This measure, part of Vietnam's tourism promotion program, is valid until August 14, 2028. A limited-term visa waiver will also be offered to special categories of foreign citizens, such as scientists, investors and cultural personalities, at the invitation of Vietnamese officials.
