Ciprian Șerban has taken steps to reduce spending, but is unhappy with the impact of these measures on local projects, saying that the blocking of the Anghel Saligny program affects communities by stopping investments in water, sewage and gas. He stresses that PSD, with the largest number of MPs in the coalition, should have a stronger voice in government decisions. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan responded to the criticism, explaining that the investment budget has been used up, which limits the possibilities for additional funding.
