CFR SA will invest up to 50.3 million lei in the rehabilitation of the Dărmănești-Vicșani-Frontieră railway line, with funding from European funds.

The National Railway Company CFR SA announced the allocation of up to 50.3 million lei for the design and execution of rehabilitation works on the railway line Dărmănești - Vicșani - Frontier, second lot.

This line is part of the TEN-T network, playing a crucial role in handling international traffic from northeastern Europe.

The total estimated value of the contract ranges between 42.43 million lei and 50.31 million lei, with an execution duration of 80 months.

Funding comes from non-reimbursable external funds, the state budget, revenues from CFR SA, and other legal sources.

Bidders must demonstrate an average turnover of at least 10.7 million lei in the last three years, and the contract will be awarded through an open auction, with a deadline for offers on December 15, 2025.
