Cătălin Predoiu, the Minister of Internal Affairs, stated that he is available to discuss with USR parliamentarians who have attacked him in the press, including the president of USR, Dominic Fritz. Predoiu emphasized that he wants to explain the process of drafting the laws from 2022 and that he does not accept USR's accusations regarding the manipulation of this process for obscure interests.

He also mentioned that he has no problem with amending legal provisions that do not correspond. Criticism against him has increased following the Recorder documentary 'Captured Justice', and Cristian Ghinea from USR has called for his dismissal, considering that Predoiu was the minister during the period of the amendments to the Justice Laws.
