<p>The national trade union confederation Cartel ALFA will protest on June 12 at the Cotroceni, demanding a fair tax reform and a resized public administration. Unionists accuse the authorities of lack of transparency and underfunding of public services. Cartel ALFA is calling for an end to austerity measures and the abolition of politicians' privileges, stressing that Romania needs a mediating president who will uphold social justice.
