The production of automobiles in Romania recorded a decrease of 2.7% in the first eight months of 2025, reaching 346,800 units compared to 356,475 units in the same period of 2024. In July, 50,241 cars were produced, and in August only 12,343. The DACIA plant in Mioveni contributed 185,490 units, while the FORD OTOSAN plant in Craiova contributed 161,310 units to the total production.
