The Ministry of Justice has validated 19 candidates for the leadership positions of the General Prosecutor's Office, DNA, and DIICOT. Between February 23-26, they will hold interviews in front of the ministerial committee, and the results will be posted on April 2, to be sent for advisory opinion to the prosecutors' section of the CSM.

The candidates for the position of general prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office next to the High Court are Cristina Chiriac and Bogdan-Ciprian Pîrlog. At DNA, for the position of chief prosecutor, Tatiana Toader, Vlad Grigorescu, and Ioan-Viorel Cerbu have applied, while at DIICOT, notable candidates include Ioana-Bogdana Albani and Antonia Diaconu. President Nicușor Dan stated that there are "very interesting people" among the candidates and emphasized the importance of the competition.
