Băluță: The multipurpose hall in Bucharest will not be ready before 2028

The PSD candidate for the Capital City Hall, Daniel Băluță, stated that Bucharest will have a multipurpose hall, but not before 2028. The design, feasibility studies, and obtaining permits will take time, and construction could last until 2030-2031.

Băluță emphasizes that the hall will be designed by the best architects and built by the best contractors, to become a "landmark project" of the capital. He specified that, although Romania is going through a period of austerity, Bucharest is at the top in terms of revenue and financing the project is not a problem.
