The Romanian Ambassador to Ukraine, Alexandru Victor Micula, announced the resumption of train service between Bucharest and Kiev, after a break of more than 5 years. The trial run was recently completed and the train will run through the Republic of Moldova. The rail link is symbolic and will help develop cultural and economic relations. They are also discussing the extension of border checkpoints and trilateral projects between Romania, Ukraine and Moldova to improve infrastructure.
