A malfunction in the main pipeline in Curtea de Argeș led to the interruption of water supply.

On July 16, 2026, the Veolia Romania Integrated Solutions teams were mobilized by local authorities to address a malfunction in the main water supply pipeline in the Ivancea-Progresu area, municipality of Curtea de Argeș.

The incident was caused by local works carried out on Progresului Street No. 12, which led to the interruption of water supply for some consumers. The technical teams immediately began the necessary maneuvers to isolate the affected area and start the repair works.

The intervention is estimated to be completed during the day of July 17, 2026, and Veolia is working continuously to minimize the impact on users. This malfunction comes after the early completion of the first phase of the rehabilitation of the Cerbureni Water Treatment Station, which included significant upgrades to improve water quality.
