A new bomb threat was reported at the headquarters of the Romanian Naval Authority (ANR) in the Port of Constanța, causing the evacuation of employees and the temporary suspension of the entry and exit maneuvers of ships from the port, starting at 12:00.
The threat message, similar to the one received 24 hours earlier, was sent to an ANR employee and indicated that several bombs might be placed in the building.
Police and firefighters intervened on-site, and the prefect of Constanța County stated that, although the alert was false, all security measures were followed. Employees were evacuated for 20 minutes, and operations in the port were suspended to ensure safety.
Authorities suspect that these alerts are part of a wave of hybrid threats, and anti-terror protocols are being strictly followed.
