BNS requests the urgent convening of parliamentary committees to analyze the effects of the 10% reduction in personnel expenses at ANAF and CNAS

The National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) has issued a warning regarding Emergency Ordinance no. 7/2026, which includes measures that risk affecting the functioning of essential institutions for Romania's financial stability.

BNS's analysis emphasizes that the 10% reduction in personnel expenses at CNAS, which has already undergone significant reorganization, will compromise its ability to verify and pay for medical services. Additionally, ANAF is facing a large number of vacant positions, and further staff reductions will impact tax administration.

BNS calls for a parliamentary meeting to analyze the impact of these measures and to prevent the weakening of these fundamental institutions. The organization also expresses its willingness for dialogue and collaboration in order to find solutions.
