A man from Bihor was sentenced to 12 years in prison for intentionally hitting a neighbor with his car while having a child in his arms.

A man from Bihor, aged 54, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for attempted murder after he intentionally hit a neighbor who was holding a two-year-old child. The incident occurred almost two years ago, in the context of previous conflicts between the two parties.

The victim, who was standing by the roadside, was thrown into a ditch after the impact, and the aggressor attempted to hit him again, but the man managed to dodge. Both the father and the child required medical attention, and a 5-year-old girl was slightly injured by the vehicle. In addition to the prison sentence, the aggressor must pay damages of 60,000 euros, and his vehicle has been confiscated. The sentence is not final.
