A baby was discovered dead in a field in Bacău County, near the locality of Moinești. The lifeless body was found by the landowner, who noticed the abandoned clothes and, pulling on them, discovered a child's leg. Authorities were immediately notified. At the scene, investigators found that the baby was wrapped in clothes and hidden in several bags. The body was transported to the morgue for an autopsy, which will determine the cause of death. Prosecutors are set to investigate whether the baby was born alive or dead and to identify the person responsible for the abandonment.
