AUR parliamentarians organized a press conference to justify the submission of a simple motion, highlighting the alarming situation of education in Romania, which ranks among the last in the EU in terms of funding and functional illiteracy rates. They criticize the reduction of resources for education by the current government, which will lead to a greater financial burden for parents. The motion will be submitted to the Senate and could be read next week, aiming to seek support for Romanian education and respect for teachers.
