The Minister of Economy, Radu Miruță, reacted after the submission of the simple motion announced by AUR, stating that he "sleeps peacefully with what he has accomplished" and that he will present himself in front of Parliament "with his head held high". He declared that, in the first 100 days of his mandate, he did everything in his power for Romania to "take at least one step forward" and described the moment of the motion as an opportunity to publicly show how he, along with his colleagues, fights against the "octopus that wants to keep the country in darkness and poverty".
