The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) announced the launch of a tender worth 1.9 million euros, excluding VAT, for the maintenance and repair of explosive detection systems at Henri Coandă International Airport. The contract, which will last four years, also includes the provision of spare parts necessary for the operation of security equipment.

The announcement was published on the Electronic Public Procurement System (SEAP) and targets services for two Smiths Detection CTX 5800 systems, as well as for the associated security management and control platform. The tender is financed from CNAB's own funds, and interested companies can submit offers until July 13, 2026. Participants must hold authorization from the National Commission for Nuclear Activities Control and demonstrate experience in similar services.
