A long-term parking lot with 800 spaces will be built at Otopeni Airport

The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) has announced the launch of the bidding for the construction of a 'Long Term' parking lot at Henri Coandă Airport, part of the airport modernization program. The new parking lot, with four levels and a capacity of 795 spaces, will be located near the CFR station 'Henri Coandă Airport', having direct access to DN1. Authorities promise to maintain the existing infrastructure and adapt pedestrian and vehicular access to improve passenger flow. To accelerate the works, a continuous execution schedule will be considered, including during the night and on weekends.

The estimated value of the investment is 62.6 million lei, and the completion deadline is a maximum of two years from the start of the works. Bids for the project can be submitted until June 10, 2026. This is part of a broader modernization plan, which also includes other parking lots and the rehabilitation of the existing multi-storey parking in the Arrivals area.
