The National Company for Road Investments (CNIR) has launched in the Electronic System for Public Procurement (SEAP) the tender for the supervision of works on section 4 of the Unirii Highway Târgu Neamț (Moțca)-Iași-Ungheni.
The contract has an estimated value of 55 million lei and a duration of 110 months, including 46 months for design and execution, as well as 60 months for the warranty of the works. Bids can be submitted until June 8, 2026. CNIR emphasizes that supervision will ensure compliance with quality standards, evaluation of works, and approval of materials. Additionally, CNIR recently announced that it has designated a partnership of Italian firms, ITINERA SPA (Leader)-ICM S.P.A, SAIPEM S.P.A, as the winning bidder for the contract for the construction of section 4 DN 24 (Iași)-Vamă, a project financed through SAFE. The 15.5-kilometer section will include 14 bridges, 2 tunnels, and 2 road junctions, facilitating access to the Regional Hospital and Iași Airport.
