CNAIR draws attention to the fact that when purchasing road tolls through third-party websites, users pay higher fees than those regulated. For example, for cars, the fee is 76 euros, which is 26 euros (52%) above the legal fee of 50 euros.

Goods transport vehicles with a maximum authorized mass of up to 3.5 tons cost 144.5 euros, which is 30.5 euros (26.75%) more than the legal fee. Minibuses for passenger transport and motorhomes are charged 143 euros, which is 93 euros (186%) above the legal fee, even though there is no distinct fee for them. Additionally, the mentioned website collects fees for vehicles not foreseen in national legislation. CNAIR recommends users to purchase the road toll only from the official portal of the institution to avoid additional costs.
