At the Emergency Reception Unit of Slatina Hospital, a nurse was assaulted by a 63-year-old patient and her husband after the woman requested several medical investigations. The patient, dissatisfied with the doctor's decision to perform additional investigations, became aggressive, hitting the nurse multiple times in the head area. Her husband intervened as well, hitting the nurse. The police were called to defuse the conflict and opened an investigation into this case. The aggressive patient was admitted to the psychiatry department, while the nurse, who suffered injuries, was hospitalized for medical care. The incident highlights safety issues in medical units.
