ASPA Bucharest intervened to save 14 animals, 7 dogs and 7 cats, from an apartment in Sector 5, where they were kept by a woman hospitalized in a hospital. Neighbors alerted the police, noticing that the owner had not been seen for several days, and the animals were not receiving water and food. Checks confirmed that the animals were left in improper conditions, without being taken outside.
The dogs were taken to the ASPA Bragadiru shelter, and the cats were taken in by the Sache Vet Association. All animals are microchipped and registered, being in good health. The placement order is valid for 45 days, and the owner can request the return of the animals within 30 days, otherwise they become available for adoption. ASPA emphasizes that such situations often arise from the desire to save animals, but can lead to suffering for both the animals and the people.
