The diagnosis of anthrax has been confirmed for two people from Ialomita, father and son, hospitalized at the Matei Balș Institute. The patients, who handled and consumed sheep meat from their own household, are under medical supervision. The father has a mild, cutaneous form and the son a medium form, but without complications. The Ministry of Health is monitoring the situation and ensuring compliance with measures to prevent the spread of infection.
