The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority has withdrawn a batch of Maestro brand bean with sausages from supermarkets after a customer found a foreign object. Customers are advised to return the product.

The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) announced the withdrawal of a batch of beans with sausages brand Maestro, produced by Caroli Foods Group SRL, from over 100 supermarkets, after a consumer reported finding a foreign body in the product. The measure was taken as a precaution, and Carrefour and Profi stores confirmed the withdrawal from their shelves.
Customers who purchased this product are advised not to consume it and to return it to the store where they bought it, without the need for a receipt. The return period is between October 17 and 30, 2025. Representatives of Carrefour and Profi apologized for the inconveniences caused and emphasized the importance of food safety.
