The authorization, granted to operator OMV Petrom in partnership with Romgaz Black Sea Limited, facilitates the connection of the offshore perimeter to the on-shore terminal in Tuzla and is a crucial step for the development of Romania's energy resources. The Neptun Deep project is seen as an engine for Romania's transformation into an energy security exporter in the region. The authorized works are worth 3.77 billion lei and the authorization is valid until 2045.
