ANPC commissioners emphasize the ban on the use of TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide) in cosmetic products, effective from September 1. This ingredient, found in semi-permanent nail polishes and UV gels, can be hazardous to health. Consumers are advised to check labels and avoid products containing TPO, informing retailers about any irregularities. Additionally, caution is recommended when purchasing products from unauthorized sources.
