Between July 21-27, ANPC carried out checks on 173 economic operators on the Romanian coast, resulting in 146 fines totaling 732,000 lei. The irregularities found included expired products, worn-out equipment, inadequate storage conditions and poor hygiene. Services were also temporarily suspended for 10 establishments and products worth 33,908 lei were permanently stopped. The Authority continues to monitor compliance with consumer protection rules.
