Following the checks carried out, the ANPC identified serious irregularities in 500 of the 670 operators checked, including the sale of expired or adulterated milk and milk products. Penalties amounting to 2.6 million lei were applied, including the definitive suspension of over 2 tons of products. The president of ANPC emphasized the importance of complying with the rules to protect consumer health and announced intensified controls.
