ANPC checked more than 800 cosmetics retailers and found many irregularities. Fines worth 4.1 million lei were imposed.

Between May 27, 2024 and June 07, 2024, ANPC carried out checks at over 800 cosmetic retailers, finding irregularities in 682 of them. ANPC employees found irregularities in storage conditions and product validity. The value of the cosmetics checked amounted to around 6 million lei. Several measures have been ordered in response to the irregularities.
